1. What this policy covers
This policy explains cookies and comparable browser storage on pickpantrystorypuls.online, operated by Athens Pantry Stories IKE, company number 179642503000. A cookie is a small value a website can ask your browser to store and send with later requests. Local storage keeps values in your browser but does not automatically attach them to web requests. Both can remember choices, so we explain them together even though their technical behaviour differs.
Our current static website sets no HTTP cookies through its own code. It uses one localStorage record to remember your privacy selection. There are no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, embedded maps or external fonts in this release. Homepage photographs are loaded from images.unsplash.com; those image requests are separate from our preference storage and are described below.
2. Storage inventory
The following table describes storage managed by our website code. Categories marked “none installed” are not hidden services and do not become active when you accept all choices.
| Category | Name / provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | pps-cookie-consent-v1First-party localStorage | Remembers consent category selections, version and expiry. Contains no name or email. | 180 days; invalidated on your next visit after expiry. |
| Analytics | None installed | No audience measurement or behaviour tracking runs. | Not applicable |
| Functional | None installed | No optional saved form details, customisation or third-party widgets. | Not applicable |
Photographs are ordinary image resources, not embedded widgets. When your browser loads them, it connects to Unsplash’s image service, which receives your IP address and technical request information. We set a no-referrer policy on these images so the referring page address is not sent. Image delivery and browser caching are not controlled by the optional preference categories; photographs can load regardless of your selection. Any provider-side processing is subject to Unsplash’s privacy policy.
3. What the banner controls
“Accept All” records permission for the optional categories displayed in the preferences panel. “Reject Non-Essential” records both optional categories as off. “Preferences” lets you choose analytics and optional functional storage independently before saving. Essential storage remains enabled because it remembers the choice you explicitly ask us to keep.
These selections do not currently cause any additional code to load or information to leave your browser. They are not blanket permission for unrelated future processing. If we introduce tools with materially different purposes or providers, we will update the inventory and request fresh consent where necessary before activating them.
4. Change or withdraw a choice
Use “Cookie preferences” in any page footer to reopen the controls. You can reject optional categories as easily as accepting them. Your choice applies to this browser and site origin, not automatically to other devices, browser profiles or a different protocol. Private browsing may remove storage when the session ends.
If your browser blocks local storage, the controls still work for the current page, but we cannot remember the selection after navigation or reload. We display a short notice when saving fails. Clearing site data also removes your saved selection, so the banner appears again. With JavaScript disabled, this site does not create the preference record or run optional tracking.
5. Browser opt-out instructions
In Chrome, open Settings, then Privacy and security, then Site settings or the controls for site data; search for this domain and remove its stored data. In Edge, open Settings and search for “cookies” or “site data,” then review and delete the domain’s entries. Menu names can change between versions.
In Firefox, go to Settings, Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data and choose Manage Data. In Safari on macOS, open Settings, Privacy, then Manage Website Data. On iPhone or iPad, Safari’s settings include website-data controls under Advanced; current system versions may place Safari under Apps. Search the device settings for “website data” if the path differs.
Blocking third-party cookies alone does not necessarily remove first-party local storage. Delete this site’s website data to remove our preference record. Browser-level “Do Not Track” signals are not a universal consent mechanism. We do not sell personal information, share it for advertising or install behavioural tracking, regardless of that signal or a Global Privacy Control setting. To prevent external photograph requests, use browser image-blocking settings or a content blocker for images.unsplash.com; the written guides remain available.
6. Further information
Technical hosting logs are separate from browser cookies and may still be needed to deliver and secure pages. Our privacy policy explains personal information, legal bases, retention and rights. Questions can be sent to [email protected] or by post to 24 Solonos Street, Athens 10673, Greece. We will update the effective date whenever this policy changes.
